Paint Competition Rules and Procedures
ICDL give-away: Draw a scene from your favourite movie or pet and win
The challenge is for students to make a drawing or movie using Microsoft Paint. Original and imaginative designs will catch the judges’ attention.
Rules for the competition
- Pictures can be inserted from a file or another resource
- Any movie may be used as long as the movie in question has no age restriction.
- The teacher at participating schools will choose two winners in the school and those two will attend the final which will be at the CS4A training Centre. Independent judges from various fields will decide on the winner.
- The entries will be judged on the number of MS Paint tools used to draw the movie. Points will also be awarded for creativity and viability. The Drawing must include a text box and the CS4A logo.

- The competition is free to enter.
- The overall winner will receive a free ICDL voucher (International Computers Drivers Licence, which is the worlds leading End-user computing certificate), valued at R 6000.00. Runner up prizes will include various gadgets.
- The competition promoter is CS4A.
- The competition is open to students attending selected Primary Schools in Northern Kwa-Zulu Natal.
- Online entries will also be accepted.
- Only two finalists per school will be accepted.
- Closing date for the competition is 27 May 2009
- By entering the competition entrants agree to be bound by the rules.
- The finals will be held at 18 Harding Street, Newcastle on 10 June 2009.
- The judges’ decisions are final. No correspondence will be entered into.
- Winners will be announced in the Newcastle Advertiser and on the CS4A website.
