General Computer Practice
The General Computer Practice course (GCP) is aimed at learners who are not entirely new to computers but need a formal course that also includes certification. The examples and exercises can be used by educators in schools as well as in an office environment or at home. This course includes basic operations, windows, word processing, spreadsheets, telecommunications and presentations.

It is a practical, hands-on course, covering 3 Unit Standards, totalling 14 SAQA credits on NQF level 2.
Candidates are required to complete all the Assignments and the Final Assessment Exercise as set out in the GCP manual.
Accreditation is under the ISETT SETA authority.
