Newcastle based Computer Skills for Africa (CS4A) has been awarded a platinum certificate from the International Computer Driving Licence (ICDL) for their contribution of integrating technology into education.

The time span between completing a Portfolio of Evidence and receiving your certificate is a worry. Like all candidates, you are anxious to know your results; even when you know the results, you still want to get your certificate ASAP!

Freedom to Grow
The company employs people and together with Raoul, I own the company, but that does not make me their boss.
It does make me feel responsible and proud and anxious and elated and desperate and the whole range of emotions in between. What I want to feel more than anything else is free. I want to feel free to enjoy what I do and I want each and every person in the company to enjoy what they do.
With respect for Carl R. Rogers, psychologist, who wrote Freedom to Learn published in 1969, here are my 10 (!) points to freedom to grow:

At CS4A change is continuously with us, whether it is in technology, syllabi, sales strategy, or the team. Whether we go with it or in fact instigate it, either way we embrace it!
The Networking Evening on 23 April showed us that many new avenues need to be explored. Many new strategies can help us to attain our objectives.
